An industry leader, the Sandy’s was the very first diaper to sport the ‘front over back’ side closure design. It is now the most widely copied diaper closure system, giving testimony to the creativity and effectiveness of its design.
The fit of this cloth diaper is slightly roomier. The small Sandy’s Diaper fits babies from 4-9kg (8-20 lbs) and absorbs 350 ml (12 oz). It’s great stretch allows it to fit so well for so long. The large Sandy’s cloth diaper is one of the most absorbent cloth diapers ever, and holds 425ml (15 oz).
Fabric: Made from soft, stretchy absorbent terry cloth and available in unbleached cotton, coloured cotton or bamboo.
- Cotton: Time tested this famously durable custom made Cotton Terry is the most durable fabric available from Mother-ease… and maybe the diaper world!
- Bamboo Terry: This terry fabric is specially knit with 70% Bamboo / 30% Cotton touching your babys delicate skin. Polyester is knit into the base of the fabric to provide strength, durability and shrinkage control. This Bamboo Terry is available in its natural unbleached finish. Bamboo fiber is considered a sustainable textile and grows without the need of herbicides and pesticides. The bamboo used in Mother-ease’s yarn is a man-made fibre using the viscose process. It is made from organically grown bamboo and the factory producing it follows strict environmental standards (ISO14001:2004) as well as employee health standards (OHSAS18001:1999). This yarn has been tested free of harmful substances according to Oeko Tex Standard 100 for baby articles.
